Sailing around Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera in a sailboat

“Ibiza, biodiversity and culture” is its motto, and perfectly sums up the character of the island. A tourist reference since the boom of the 60s, and known above all for its lively nightlife, in Ibiza we can also find quiet villages, places to stroll, such as Dalt Vila and coves that can only be reached by sailboat.

And only 2.5 miles separate this island from Formentera, the best preserved of all the Balearic Islands, and the smallest of the four. Turquoise waters, hidden coves, some of the best beaches in Spain and a rich gastronomy. That and much more and in the most sustainable way possible, is what we are going to live and know for 7 days. Ibiza and Formentera by sailboat, are waiting for you!

Itinerary

Posidonia meadows – an endemic marine plant of the Mediterranean – are the origin of the beauty and transparency of the waters of the Pitiuso Sea. Their conservation is therefore an imperative, as the vast biodiversity of the waters of Ibiza and Formentera depends directly on their good health. And we, as a company aware of sustainability and the belief that another tourism is possible, we are going to take care of it.

We will meet early in the port of departure, either Port Badalona (Barcelona), Santa Eulària des Riu or Sant Antoni (Ibiza) and after stowing luggage and food and distributing the cabins we will start our journey.

The first week we will make the leap from Badalona to Soller in Mallorca (115Nm) and from there, passing through Andratx and Santa Ponsa, we will reach the island of Ibiza, passing through Tagomago. We will enjoy, therefore, the beaches and waters of 2 beautiful islands. Our trip will end in Santa Euralia des Riu.

The second week, the journey will start in Santa Euralia des Riu, to set course to the island of Formentera. Cala Llonga or S’Estanyol are some of the places we will pass by. We will arrive at the capital of the island, the city of Ibiza. UNESCO declared the old town, known as Dalt Vila, a World Heritage Site. We will dock at its port and spend the night, being able to enjoy the rest of the day to get to know the town.

From Ibiza we will make the leap to Formentera. The island is small, so we will surround it completely, passing through places like Racó des Cans, Cala Codolar, Cap de Barberia, where we can anchor and take a swim. Caló de S’Oli, Ses Illetes, considered the best beach on the island, and one of the best in Spain, Platja de Llevant or S’Espalmador, a small island that can be reached by walking along a strip of fine sand 3 km long, are some of the places we will enjoy on our trip.

We will return to Ibiza through Sant Antoni de Portmany, tourist center and located west of the island, passing by coves such as Cala Vadella or Cala Conta, although Cala Bassa (which looks like a natural pool of calm waters and surrounded by pine and tamarisk trees) and Cala Salada, are two of our favorites, very close to the Illa Conillera.

There we will finish the second week and start the third and last outing.

In the third week, from Sant Antoni, we will sail through the western part of the island of Ibiza, to make the leap to Mallorca and dock in Andratx. From there we will start our return to Port de Badalona.

So, you can join us week by week, or come for three weeks and get to know the Balearic Islands in depth. We are waiting for you!
