Fireworks from the sea

On the occasion of the celebration of the Festes Majors, in many towns of the Catalan coast and even in the city of Barcelona itself, on one of its nights, the protagonists are the fireworks. The people of towns like Montgat or Masnou gather in the squares or on the beaches, to raise their heads to the sky and contemplate the spectacle of light and color of the pyrotechnic festivals.

We go further, and we do not stay on land, but we go out to sea, to contemplate this spectacle from the distance that offers us a privileged perspective, in good company and position.

Let’s enjoy!

Itinerary

It is said that around 200AC in China, a bamboo was thrown into the fire, the air inside it expanded and exploded. The villagers decided it was a good way to scare away evil spirits… and since then, until now, there is no self-respecting festival without spectacular fireworks.

Seeing them from the sea, away from the crowds and crowds gives us a broader and more global view of the show.

We will meet in time at the port (time to be arranged) to give a brief safety briefing. We will set sail enjoying the sunset and the sailing towards the best located point to see the fireworks from the sea. We will accompany the show with a typical table of Catalan sausages and artisan cheeses and “pa amb tomaquet” and washed down with a drink and a glass of cava and coca. At the end of the fireworks, we will return to port with all tranquility.
