After detecting that many people who obtain the various titles of nautical sports, do not get the security, confidence and knowledge they should to be self-sufficient at sea, I thought of making a series of training blocks to try to transmit my knowledge about sailing, in order, not to obtain any qualifications (which you already have), but that you are able to control the boat and lose the fear (not respect) and thus be able to sail safely.

For the past three years, the courses have been organized by levels. We form two groups: one for beginners or those who need more practice with basic techniques (hoisting, lowering, tacking, jibing, man overboard, etc.), and another for those who are a bit more advanced (maneuvers in port, reefing, using the Gennaker, sailing in pairs, and solo sailing). We are aware that it is very challenging to fully standardize the groups, so we ask for a bit of patience from those who are more experienced. Each group will consist of 5 to 7 people, so everyone can have a chance to practice.

There will be a monthly 5-hour session on Saturdays or Sundays, either in the morning, afternoon, or evening, from October to June, both months included. Since everyone has other commitments (family, other activities, work, etc.), the session dates will be agreed upon quarterly among the members of each group. Once the quarterly schedule is set, it cannot be altered.

These courses will be supplemented with specialized courses on various nautical topics. Last year, we held our first specialized course, a 6-hour (2-day) VHF communications course with simulators. It was very enriching, and I believe that all those who attended are now capable of correctly broadcasting a message in an emergency situation.
Continuing with our philosophy (to make sailing available to everyone) the price for the entire course (10 sessions) is 700,00 € per person. People who continue from last year doing these sessions or who are or have been part of the regatta team, will receive a discount of 10%, leaving the price at 630,00 €.

Our idea is, in a while, to open our own sailing school and dispatch the boat as a boat-school, to be able to teach sailing qualifications, or qualifications to the Balearic Islands, and we also do regulated training.
