Around Ibiza and Formentera

“Ibiza, biodiversity and culture” that is its slogan, and it perfectly sums up the character of the island. A tourist reference since the boom of the 60s, and known above all for its lively nightlife, in Ibiza we can also find small quiet towns, places to walk, such as Dalt Vila and coves where it can only be reached by sailboat.

And only 2.5 miles separate this island from Formentera, the best preserved of all the Balearic Islands and the smallest of the four. Turquoise waters, hidden coves, some of the best beaches in Spain and a rich gastronomy. That and much more and in the most sustainable possible way, is what we are going to live and know for 8 days.

Posidonia meadows – endemic marine plant of the Mediterranean – are the origin of the beauty and transparency of its waters. Its conservation is therefore an imperative, since the vast biodiversity of the waters of Ibiza and Formentera depends directly on its good health. And we, as a company aware of sustainability and the belief that other tourism is possible, we will take care of it.

Sunday, July 19th: Departure from Port Marina Badalona at 8:00 a.m., after stowing luggage and food and distributing the cabins. We will sail all day to cover the 146Nm that separate us from Tagomago, already in Ibiza.

Monday, July 20th: After about 30 hours of sailing, we will arrive at the island of Tagomago, where we will anchor to rest and take a well-deserved bath. When we decide, we will embark again to, passing through Cala Boix and Cala Llenya, arriving at Santa Eulària des Riu, where we will overnight.

Tuesday, July 21st: From there, and after taking breakfast, we will continue our navigation to the south, leaving coves such as Cala Llonga or S’Estanyol and arriving at the island’s capital, the city of Ibiza. UNESCO declared World Heritage the old town, known as Dalt Vila. We will dock in its port and overnight there, being able to enjoy the rest of the day to know the town.

Around Ibiza and Formentera AlmarBcn

Wednesday, July 22nd: From Ibiza we will jump to Formentera. The island is small, so we will completely surround it, passing places such as Racó des Cans, Cala Codolar, Cap de Barberia, where we can anchor and take a bath. That day it is planned to arrive at Caló de S’Oli, where we will anchor for the night, in the buoys arranged for it.

Thursday, July 23rd: After breakfast, and in less than 1 hour we can reach Ses Illetes, considered the best beach on the whole island, and one of the best in all Spain. Just in front, Llevant Beach. We will enjoy the morning there, and after lunch, we will come back to Ibiza, passing through S’Espalmador, a small island. We will sleep at Es Vedrà.

Friday, July 24th: We will start the day sailing to Sant Antoni de Portmany, the island’s tourist center. We will pass through coves such as Cala Vadella or Cala Conta, although Cala Bassa (which looks like a natural pool with calm waters and surrounded by pines and tamarinds) and Cala Salada, are two of our favorites, very close to Conillera Island. We will overnight at the port of Sant Antoni.

Saturday, July 25th: Free morning to stroll or make the last purchases. Around 12: 00h we will embark already to Port de Badalona.
